A boosted post is a post from your State Page that, for a fee, can rank higher up on your followers’ News Feeds. The cost you pay depends on how many people you want the post to reach, and the payment depends on the number of impressions the post gets with time.
You can create a post and schedule it to publish on your Page in the future. Scheduled posts can be created and edited by other admins and editors who help manage your Page. Keep in mind that all times for scheduling correspond to your current time zone.
Metrics for your Page's posts are available as soon as the post is published. In the “Posts” section of Insights, you can see the following information about your Page posts: the number of people reached; post clicks; reactions, comments and shares; and total video views and viewing behavior details.

Facebook Audience Insights is free and provides demographic and behavior information about your Page followers. The tool was created for advertisers looking to target their ads more effectively, but you can use the tool even if you are not currently running ads. To access, make sure to be logged-in as your Page admin and go to www.facebook.com/ads/audience-insights.
